For the 11th time in Franchise history the Detroit Red Wings are bringing the Stanley Cup home to Hockeytown!

In game 5 of a very intense series between the Red Wings and Penguins, the Detroit Red Wings were able to clinch the coveted 4th victory in a 7 game series. In winning this coveted trophy the Red Wings fearless leader Nicklas Lidstrom became the first European born Captain to finally hoist the cup! I must say after damn near having a heart attack, I am so incredibly proud of my Wings!
